SHINER COMANCHES VS SANTA MARIA COUGARS
7 p.m., Robstown Cotton Picker Stadium
NOTES: Shiner (7-2), the second seed in District 15, makes the 130-mile trip to play Santa Maria (5-5), the third seed in District 16.
The teams last met in the 2013 bi-district playoffs and Shiner captured a 45-14 win before going on to the state final.
Shiner had won seven straight games until losing to Refugio last week.
Santa Maria is coming off a win over Freer.
Shiner's Donyai Taylor and Collin Bujnoch have combined to rush for 1,288 yards and 15 touchdowns.
The winner advances to area against the winner of Thursday's Mason vs. Rosebud-Lott game.
