SHINER COMANCHES AT REFUGIO BOBCATS
Last year: Refugio, 35-0.
NOTES: The district championship and top seed in the playoffs will be at stake when Shiner (7-1, 4-0) and Refugio (7-1, 4-0) play for the fifth time.
Refugio owns a 3-1 edge and the winner of this game has advanced at least to the quarterfinals.
Shiner has won seven straight games. Refugio has won five straight games and is ranked No. 6 in the Class 2A state poll.
Shiner's Donyai Taylor has 817 all-purpose yards and 10 touchdowns and has also intercepted three passes and returned one for a touchdown.
Refugio's Jared Kelley has passed for 1,954 yards and an area-leading 28 touchdowns.
