Shiner has won seven straight games. Refugio has won five straight games and is ranked No. 6 in the Class 2A state poll.
Shiner's Donyai Taylor has 817 all-purpose yards and 10 touchdowns and has also intercepted three passes and returned one for a touchdown.
Refugio's Jared Kelley has passed for 1,954 yards and an area-leading 28 touchdowns.
