Notes:
Falls City (1-2) and Shiner (2-1) play for the first time since 2007 when they were district opponents.
The teams were district opponents from 2000 to 2007, and Shiner had a 7-2 advantage during that span, including a 16-14 win in the 2003 quarterfinals.
Shiner is ranked No. 9 in the Class 2A state poll.
Shiner's Dadrian Taylor has rushed for 406 yards and five touchdowns, and Brandon Cerny has passed for 325 yards and six touchdowns.
Shiner will recognize members of state championship teams from 1981 to 2011 during halftime.
