SOMERSET - Shiner rolled for 438 yards while the Comanche defense completely stifled Brackett's offense in a Class 1A, Div. I playoff.

Shiner's defense thoroughly devastated the Tigers, holding their opponents to -4 yards rushing on 35 attempts, 0 yards passing and only five first downs.

On offense, Marlon Wallace scored on runs of 7 and 6 yards. Caleb Curtis also scored on a 29-yard run.

Shiner was just as successful in the air as they were on the ground. Quarterback Jacob Stafford threw for two touchdowns, the first a 40-yarder to Evel Jones and the second a 38-yarder to Trevian Flowers. Stafford finished the night hitting four of six passes for 193 yards and no interceptions.

Jones was the team's leading rusher and receiver. Jones rushed for 82 yards on eight carries and caught three passes for 81 yards.

The Comanches will face the winner of Ben Bolt and Winters in Llano. The teams will play Saturday at 6 p.m.
