SABINAL - The Shiner Comanches dominated the Sabinal Yellowjackets, winning 49-3 and clinching a District 30-1A playoff berth.
Eric Murphy rushed for 149 yards on 9 carries and scored on runs of 40, 23, and 56 yards. He also ran in two two-point conversions and kicked a 25-yard field goal.
Bryan Franklin, who had 111 yards rushing on 10 carries, added a 55-yard TD run in the first quarter. Garet Pustka had a 10-yard run in the second quarter and Josh Smith had a 3-yard TD run. Pustka also hooked up with Devin Carroll on a 51-yard pass.
Jayce Creech hit a 23-yard filed goal for Sabinal's lone score.
Zunker then sprinted 52 yards with 2:50 left to give the Beavers a 14-6 halftime lead.
Shiner (6-3, 4-1) will play Medina in the first round of bi-district playoffs.
