FALLS CITY -- Travis Wright scored a pair of touchdowns as the top-ranked and unbeaten Shiner Comanches slogged their way to a 22-13 District 30-1A win over the Falls City Beavers Saturday. The game was originally scheduled for Friday night, but was was postponed after 48 seconds of play Friday due to lightning in the area.

Both teams have already earned playoff berths but the win assures Shiner (9-0, 4-0) at least a tie for the district championship. The Comanches can wrap up the title on Friday when they host Sabinal.

Falls City (7-2, 3-1), which had a six-game win streak snapped, will finish the regular season at D'Hanis.
