FLATONIA BULLDOGS AT SHINER COMANCHES

NOTES: Shiner (6-3, 5-0) has won 11 of the last 13 games against Flatonia (6-3, 4-1). Shiner has already clinched the district’s Division I playoff berth and would claim the district title outright with a win. Flatonia has already clinched a Division II playoff berth and would claim a share of the district title and the district’s top seed in the Division II playoffs with a win. Flatonia could still be the top seed in the Division II playoffs with a loss if Pettus defeats Louise. If Flatonia loses and Louise beats Pettus, Flatonia would be the second seed in the Division II playoffs. Shiner has won six straight games since losing to East Bernard and 10 straight district games dating back to last season. Shiner is yielding 181.9 yards per game and is leading the district in team defense. Flatonia’s Jordan Williams has passed for a district-leading 1,298 yards and 11 touchdowns and Adrian Lighteard has rushed for 989 yards and 14 touchdowns. Shiner’s Kyle Condel, D.J. Pustka and Cody Franke have combined to rush for 1,682 yards and 26 touchdowns.

LOUISE HORNETS AT PETTUS EAGLES
LAST YEAR: Louise, 29-15.
NOTES: Louise (6-3, 3-2) and Pettus (7-2, 3-2) meet with a playoff berth on the line. Louise, which is coming off its bye week, would be the district’s top seed in Division II with a win and a Shiner win over Flatonia or the second seed in Division II with a win and a Flatonia win over Shiner. Pettus would be the second seed in Division II with a win. Pettus made the playoffs last season and Louise is seeking its first postseason appearance since 2002. Louise’s Kyle Lawson has rushed for a district-leading 1,084 yards and 14 touchdowns and Antwon Parsons has rushed for 678 yards and nine touchdowns. Louise’s Cory Hajovsky and Chris Hicks each have five interceptions. Pettus’ Jake Stanley has passed for 1,275 yards and 17 touchdowns and rushed for 584 yards and five touchdowns.
