WOODSBORO EAGLES AT SHINER COMANCHES
LAST YEAR: Shiner, 28-0.
NOTES: Shiner (4-3, 3-0) goes for its fourth straight win over Woodsboro (1-7, 0-4) as district opponents. Shiner has won its three district games by a combined score of 171-15 and would maintain at least a share of the district lead with a win. Woodsboro has lost four straight since defeating Agua Dulce. Shiner is ranked No. 20 in the Texas Football poll. Shiner's Kyle Condel, D.J. Pustka and Cody Franke have combined to rush for 1,303 yards and 18 touchdowns.
FLATONIA BULLDOGS AT LOUISE HORNETS
LAST YEAR: Flatonia, 48-28.
NOTES: Flatonia (5-2, 3-0) meets Louise (5-3, 2-2) coming off its bye week. Flatonia would maintain at least a share of the district lead with a win. Louise lost 33-29 to Falls City last week and needs to stay in contention for a playoff berth. Flatonia leads the district with 1,046 passing yards and Louise is second in the district with 1,778 rushing yards. Flatonia's Jordan Williams has passed for a district-leading 1,007 yards and eight touchdowns.
FALLS CITY BEAVERS AT PETTUS EAGLES
LAST YEAR: Falls City, 13-6.
NOTES: Falls City (3-4, 2-1) and Pettus (6-1, 2-1) meet with the winner either moving into a tie for second or taking over sole possession of third while the loser will fall into fourth place. Pettus has won two straight since opening district with a loss to Shiner.
