LOUISE - Do-it-all quarterback Kyle Condel ran for 116 yards and four touchdowns and passed for another as Shiner improved to 2-3 overall and won its District 31-1A opener 42-7 over Louise.
Louise scored first when Antwon Parson scored on the game's first play from scrimmage from 57 yards out. Coy Hajovsky added the point after. Led by Condel, Shiner would score 42 unanswered points.
He scored on a 3-yard run with 6:31 remaining in the first quarter, then passed to Drew Hagens for an 18-yard score with 19 seconds left in the half.
Condel kicked the extra points for the Comanches who took a 21-7 halftime lead on a 1-yard Condel run 38 seconds before halftime.
Condel, who rushed for 116 yards, continued his assault on the end zone in the third quarter with runs of 18 and 3 yards. D.J. Putska added Shiner's final tally with 2-yard run with 42 seconds left in the game.
