Shiner RB Quincy Jones scored twice, RB Clayton Fric once, and QB Jarvis Williams as the Comanches outpaced the Wildcats from the start. All-time Texas high school football rushing & scoring record-holder Caeden Ash was held without a touchdown by the excellent play of the Shiner defense.
With their semifinal victory, Shiner advances to meet Muenster in the 2025 Texas Class 2A-DII State Championship game at AT&T Stadium in Arlington on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 11:00am. General admission tickets for the 2025 State Championship sessions are available online only at SeatGeek.
Shiner fans will recognize this upcoming game as a rematch of last year's Texas 2A-DII State Championship when Muenster defeated Shiner 36-29 on December 18, 2024 to take the title.
NOTE: Shiner's cousins & next-door neighbors to the South, the Yoakum Bulldogs, will play in the Texas Class 3A-DI State Championship game immediately following the Shiner-Muenster game. GO BULLDOGS!
