Shiner's Comanche Stadium will be quiet this week as both the Shiner Comanches and Shiner St. Paul Cardinals are on the road.

SHINER COMANCHES AT WALL HAWKS

The Comanches will close out non district against San Angelo-area school Wall in Fredericksburg.

"Wall is tradtionally a good team that makes deep playoff runs every year," Comanches head coach Daniel Boedeker said. "We are looking to get some questions answered and clean up some things before district."

Wall is 2-1 on the year, is scoring 23 points a game and allowing just under 21 points per game.

The Hawks run the veer option out of one back sets.

"The fullback is the go to guy and the quarterback makes good reads. We will have to cover the dive, quarterback and pitch well," Boedeker said.

The Wall defense bases out of 4-3 but varies its formations and is very aggressive.

"Our offensive lineman will need to keep their eyes up and see what is in front of them. We will have to have no turnovers and eliminate penalties," Boedeker said.

Leading tackler is Caleb Valles with 31 tackles on the year.

Shiner has an open date next week.
