The Shiner Lady Comanches easily won the district title at the 28-2A meet held Monday (October 29, 2020) at Green-Dickson Park.

VARSITY GIRLS
The Lady Comanches recorded 15 points, 41 better than second-place Weimar who had 56 points. Shiner runners captured six top 10 places, led by Rylee Vancura who was second overall in 12 minutes, 40 seconds and following was Mari Grosenbacher (13:14), Riley Rainosek (13:27), Hayleigh Burns (13:44), Jocelyn Moreno (13:53) and Bailey Smith (13:57). Katie Machart was timed at 14:29 for No. 12.
VARSITY BOYS
Beck Bishop’s No. 13 finish in 21:46 paced the Comanches who turned in 77 points for third place. Bode Prove was No. 19 with 23:17 and was followed by Shawn Liska in 23:23. Jared Shimek was No. 25 with 23:53; Wyatt Machart was No. 27 in 24:08; Gavyn Gipson was clocked at 25:05 for No. 31. Caleb Phelps was No. 38 with 28:51.
JUNIOR VARSITY GIRLS
Times for the Lady Comanches junior varsity — Isis Robinson took first with 14:48, followed by Grace Migl (15:31), Autumn Bishop (15:43), Amelia Pohler (16:02), Jacy Chrismon (16:24), Teresa Olivas (17:23), Eva Taracena (17:57) and Lily Gipson (18:20).

Lars Knotig placed third with 14:08.
