Game Preview: Wallis Brazos at Shiner
The Comanches football team will look to continue their improvement as they return home after a tough match against Hallettsville.
Head coach Steven Cerny said the Comanches played well but got a little tired and were unable to take advantage of a couple of opportunities.
Shiner will host Wallis Brazos in 2016 Homecoming at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow at Comanche Stadium.
"Like Hallettsville, they are going to be a speedy team," he said. "Our defense will need to tackle better, especially in the open field."
Cerny said the Shiner offensive line has to get a better push and the offense overall needs to have a little more consistency.
"Brazos defense will stunt a lot and we have to pick those up," he said.
More improvement on special teams is also on the to-do-list for Shiner.
