Senior lineman Caleb Murrile said, "I thought we played really well, offensively and defensively, I thought we took care of business up front. Our backs did a great job of finding the holes and the secondary did great shutting them down."
Coach Steve Cerny was also pleased with the performance and with the number of players that were able get playing time. He said, "I thought we played well from the beginning to the end tonight. Even our backups played really well against their firsts and a lot of these guys don't get that much practice time."
Shiner quickly jumped out to a 21-0 lead by the end of the first quarter with 3 rushing touchdowns by Ty Boedeker, Chad Neubauer, and Dadrian Taylor. Boedeker and Taylor each added another touchdown in the second to send the Comanches into halftime with a decisive 35-0 lead.
Taylor added one more TD in the third quarter, his third and final score on a 167 rushing yard night for the junior. Charles Haynes and Dustin Petras finished up the scoring for the Comanches with a touchdown a piece in the fourth quarter, Haynes's on a 50 yard run.

Neubauer rushed 83 total yards on 10 carries and kicked 5 successful extra points. Boedeker ran for 23 yards and completed all 3 of his pass attempts. All told, the Comanches racked up 354 rushing yards on the night and 30 passing yards.
When asked about the line's success, Murrile said, "I think experience has been key on the line this year. We have four seniors on offensive line and a junior is our other one, so experience helps.
"We've been playing together all season and we just keep getting better every week. All the thanks goes to Coach Bone, our O-line coach. He does a great job of working us and we just get better every week."
The Comanche defense held the Bearcats to 68 rushing yards and 211 passing yards. They also kept them off the board until the fourth quarter when they surrendered one rushing and one passing touchdown a piece.
With this win, Shiner advances to face Flatonia on Friday (November 27, 2015) in El Campo at 7 p.m.
Although Shiner won 28-0 in their district match-up, the Comanches are taking their rematch against the Bulldogs very seriously.
Coach Cerny said, "It's going to be bigger and tougher than the last time, there's no doubt." Murrile added, "It's a great rivalry, and we'll be ready to go."
