After their 68-0 bidistrict win over the Riviera Kaufer Seahawks in Three Rivers Thursday night (November 12, 2015), Comanche senior Justin Stovall said of the game, "We came out striking and took care of business."
There aren't many better ways to describe the Shiner playoff blowout that included 302 rushing yards, 123 additional passing yards and more Shiner points than any other game this season.
The Comanches put four touchdowns on the board in the first quarter alone and racked up 10 trips into the end zone by the end of the game with 6 successful extra point kicks from Chad Neubauer and 2 more from Cole Jalufka.
Four of the touchdowns came from Dadrian Taylor, including one on an 86-yard punt return.
Justin Stovall hangs on to a pass from Shiner quarterback Ty Boedeker for a 54 yard completion and Comanche touchdown.

Taylor had 133 total rushing yards for the night on 11 carries. Neubauer and Justin Stein added 2 touchdowns a piece, and the final 2 TDs came on a 54-yard pass from Ty Boedeker to Stovall and on a fumble return by Dustin Petras.
Boedeker completed 5 of his 9 pass attempts, 3 of which were received by Stovall for 101 yards and the other 2 by Caleb Oden for 22 yards.
"The line was blocking really well for the quarterback," Stovall said. I just had to get open and grab the ball. That was it."
With such a big lead early on, the Comanches were able to get a lot of players into the game to see some playoff action. Coach Steve Cerny said, "I was really excited that we got a lot of the second string into the game. You need those guys.
"You never know when you're going to need a back-up to step in, so that was really good for them to get so much action. That's good for the team. Everybody works hard in practice and they deserve those chances. I'm glad they got the opportunity."
The Comanches' next playoff opponent will be the Moody Bearcats in Brenham on Friday (November 20, 2015) at 7:30 p.m.
