"A promise is a promise"

How many times have you heard "if so and so jumped off a bridge, would you do it too"? Well, the answer this time is a resounding "YES!" Bruce Pohler, whose son, Ky, is on the Comanche baseball team, shaved his head following the Thorndale series. Numerous dads and the coaches told the team they, too, would shave their heads if the Comanches won state.

Following the team's state championship victory this past Friday, 10 dads and coaches made good on their promises. Getting a new "do" were, front row, from the left, Marvin Boedeker, Coach Steve Cerny, and Mark Hagens. Second row, James Pustka, Coach Daniel Boedeker and Stanley Shimek. Back row, Greg Kloesel, Scott O'Connor, Bobby Strauss, and Scott Baer.

Way to take one for the team, guys!

CONGRATULATIONS, COMANCHES!
