SHINER -- Shiner scored 11 points in the fourth quarter to rally past Randolph before a crowd of 1,500 fans.
Chris Baer scored from 27 yards out to pull the Comanches to within 31-30 with 2:21 left in the game. It was the third touchdown of the game for Baer, who finished with 169 yards rushing on 23 carries.
The game was decided when Ryan Kloesel threw a 2-point conversion pass to Nick Evans.
Scott Shimek had kicked a 26-yard field goal earlier in the quarter for Shiner.
Randolph, No. 8 in the Express-News Sub-5A rankings, had built its lead on a 68-yard touchdown from Brandon Ervin to Sean Applewhite in the first quarter and an 81-yard punt return by Ervin in the second quarter.
Chris Woods scored on a 1-yard run in the first quarter for Randolph.
