Weimar (2-2) at Shiner (4-1)
7:30 p.m. today at Comanche Stadium, Shiner
Tonight’s game will not only be the final nondistrict tuneup for both teams, but also Shiner’s homecoming game. This also will be Weimar’s second trip to Comanche Stadium in three weeks after the Wildcats rallied past St. Paul, 22-21, Sept. 21.
Weimar operates out of a double-slot pistol look or a two-back pistol look. Quarterback Seth Helmcamp is the operator of the Wildcats’ offense, and Shiner coach Steven Cerny refers to him as "a game manager who has a lot of speed."
Shiner and Weimar both lost to Hallettsville this season as well. The Brahmas beat the Comanches (49-28) and the Wildcats (27-2).
