Shiner vs Corpus Christi London

Bulldog Stadium, Three Rivers
Shiner opens the playoffs with a team that is still a new program as they take on Corpus Christi London at 7 p.m. today in Three Rivers.
London fielded its first varsity football team in 2012.
"CC London is a solid football team," Shiner head coach Steven Cerny said.
The Pirates are a spread-offense team with quarterback Jake Voss who is very mobile in the pocket and has quality targets in George Aguliar and Chris Grey.
"Our defense cannot give up any big plays to the Pirates because Aguliar and Grey can bust big ones on defenses," Cerny said.
The CC London defense loves to move around and stunt.
Cerny said the play of the Shiner offensive line will be extremely crucial.
"We have to make sure our offensive line gets good steps on them," he said.
Shiner will have one less day of practice due to the game being played on a Thursday.
"The kids are excited that it will be a quick week of workouts," Cerny said.
