"This time, Shiner softball is going to state. The Lady Comanches have been this way before. Shiner's won state softball titles in 2001, '02, '08 and 2011. What is their mindset going back to Austin? They shared it with our Ashley Park."
Tamara Hajek, Senior Catcher:
"You always want to win the last game, you take every inning, every pitch, every out ... you just take your time and play the game and keep your calm."
Cece Darilek, Junior Pitcher:
"Try to keep the same as we always do and try to not over-think anything and just do what we always do."
Lenae Kremling, Senior DP:
"We're having the same attitude just like any other game, the same approach and just go out there with intensity and just play Lady Comanche softball."

"Shiner softball goes for its fifth state championship in this millennium on Wednesday. The Lady Comanches and Hawley in the state semis Wednesday at noon at McCombs Field at UT-Austin."

The Shiner Lady Comanches are headed to the 2A State Semifinal in Austin on Wednesday.
The Lady Comanches have won State softball titles in 2001, 2002, 2008, and 2011.
They'll take on Hawley at McCombs Field at UT Austin on Wednesday at Noon.
